Problem space
Development teams weren't lacking tools, across hundreds of teams and millions of lines of delivery. The design challenge was making a unified product create a streamlined workflow in one place.
Solution
ALM Octane became one of HP's (today: OpenText) flagship enterprise products. Getting there meant treating design as a connective layer, unifying a fragmented product language and staying close enough to customers that the dashboard redesign became one of the most talked-about features.
Customizable Dashboards
Users weren't engaging with dashboards despite their potential. BMW was one of our heaviest enterprise users, running ALM deep into their delivery workflow, which meant we had a direct line to real edge cases and high-stakes feedback. Working with them closely, I redesigned the experience as a modular, role-specific workspace with drag-and-drop widgets, real-time data, and meaningful zero states. It became one of the most recognized features among enterprise customers.
Design System and Brand Expression

A global masthead, mega menu, dynamic empty states, and Voyager, a reimagined login experience built to carry the brand's spirit. The result reduced design-to-development overhead by 40% and held UX consistency across the entire product.
